About Pune Vidyarthi Griha (PVG)
Pune Vidyarthi Griha (PVG) is a well-known charitable trust established in 1909 by dedicated and visionary educationalists. PVG celebrated its centenary on 12th May, 2009. This trust conducts 54 different programs and also many social activities. PVG has branches at Pune, Mumbai, , Ghatkopar, Nashik, Talegaon Anjaneri, Panchvati and Mhasrul.
The wide spectrum of educational programs include pre-primary schools, primary schools, High Schools, Junior Colleges, Senior Colleges, Education B.Ed. college (Two Units) , Engineering Colleges with graduate, post-graduate Ph.D research centers and Management Institutes.
It also runs hostels for destitute students, hostels for boys and girls and old age home for senior citizens. It has modern printing facilities and a publication division, which has published more than 600 titles both technical and literary.

College is organized by N.C.T.E. and affiliated to the S.P. Pune University, Pune. College critically observes development of self learning skill and self discipline.
Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are held to improve and maintain quality. Quality improvement of teaching faculty is checked by continuous self evaluation. College continuously attempts to improve quality through various programmes organized by various departments.
PVG college of education and research has one divisions as per the new two year B.Ed. credit system curriculum i.e. 50 students. The medium of college is English.
